The Foundation pursues exclusively public utility goals and is aimed at the promotion of the economic development.
It acts within the following sectors:
Scientific research, education, art, health and preservation of cultural heritage.
Furthermore, it promotes cultural activities in Italy and abroad, contributing to the social development of the local territory. Such activities bring prestige to the Cassmarca Foundation confirming its prominent role in the cultural life of the country.
It supports the ICN because it believes that the diffusion of the scientific heritage, culture and high technology will be essential for the local and national territory development and profitable for citizens as well as companies.

CIVEN, born as a part of the Nanotechnology Cluster Veneto Nanotech, is an interuniversity association founded by the University of Padua, the University of Verona and the two Venetian Universities, Ca’ Foscari and IUAV.
CIVEN, a non-profit body, is devoted to the promotion of research and training activities as well as to the technology transfer in the field of nanotechnology. On request, it carries out applied research activities in harness with universities, local and international public authorities and private entities.
CIVEN promotes the Italian participation in International bodies, projects and activities, carrying out and coordinating technological and scientific researches also within EU projects, both using its facilities or in collaboration with other national and international public and private entities. The results of the applied research will be available to the scientific and entrepreneurial communities.
